I’m a native of San Diego and have always loved plants. I worked at a high end nursery called Allisonville Nursery in Indianapolis and extensively expanded another nursery in Fishers, IN. While working at these nurseries, customers would bring in plans and plant lists created by the landscape designer they had hired to “just see” what the plants looked like in person. So often I found that the plans needed to be reworked due to inappropriate plant selections made by the designer. I would thus help the customer make these changes and offer new suggestions of my own. These experiences coupled with the great encouragement I received from customers led to the founding of  Natural Newscapes in 2005.

I have a B.A. from San Diego State University, with an emphasis in Interior Design and an A.A. from Mira Costa College in Landscape Architecture
